The School of Practical Training run a Two day Introduction to opening and Identifying Safes up to a £17,000 cash cover offering tuition to Practicing Locksmiths in the following:

1. Aims of the Course
 

  • To give practical experience in Safe Engineering

  • Identification of Safes

  • Diagnosing Safe Problems and How to deal with them

  • Carrying out Penetrated Opening

  • The Use of Standard Locksmith Equipment

  • How to Identify Common Faults

  • Safe Repair & Servicing

  • Servicing Time Delay & Time Locks

  • Key & Lock Changing

2. Course Expectancy

  • Practical Hands On

  • Drilling & Safe Repairs (Manipulation to be carried out on an Advanced Course)

  • Safe Repairs

  • The use of Basic Tools

3. Tools Required

  • Students to bring basic Tools

  • Wires (Piano) will be made available at the course

  • Small Torches will be available at the course
